What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is based on a technology known as XML. Among other things, RSS allows you to view headlines of the latest content posted on a website. When you see the XML
icon or the
icon on a page you know that the content is associated with a RSS feed.
Most of the newer browser versions like Internet Explorer 7.0+ and FireFox 2.0+ have the capability to easily subscribe to RSS feeds. Visitors to our website can also choose to subscribe to RSS feeds through special “readers” like Bloglines or NewsGator. These readers, like Internet Explorer 7.0+ and FireFox 2.0+, will also allow you to subscribe to any website RSS feed on the Internet.
